About Me

My Journey

After the realization set in that I would not be known as Tyquan Parker, The World’s Best Video Gamer, I spent frequent hours contemplating the answer to the question, “What are you good at?”

As a child, I was curious by nature. I would routinely disassemble and seamlessly reassemble household appliances much to my mother’s dismay. I never felt satisfied unless I knew how things worked. This trait followed me into adulthood and is what drives my desire to understand how things work and help them do so more efficiently. Joining J&J through the Information Technology Leadership Development Program in 2011 has satisfied my need to make things work more efficiently and help others at the same time.

I am currently in the Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM) Organization operating in the Supply Chain Deliver Pilar. In this organization, my team is responsible for:

Advancing the security program which spans Johnson and Johnson’s distribution centers, contact centers, and vendors globally, including application security, infrastructure security and 3rd party supplier risk
Handling 3rd party application cyber security audits and ensuring SOX applications remain in good standing.
Threat Modeling for complex ERP (SAP, JDE, etc.) applications by mapping data flow and analyzing potential security concerns
Partnering with Technology Services and the business to ensure security is built into all applications by following the SDLC process and completing application security assessments

In this role and past roles, my track record of success is demonstrated by multiple SAP platform upgrades, multiple ERP assessments and a successful contact center assessment program. Also, consecutive years of receiving the “exceeds” rating in the what category speaks to my effectiveness. My core competencies include SAP/ERP security, SDLC Deliverable Awareness, data analysis, project management, security training and web application security.

I am a results and performance driven individual that has demonstrated the ability to lead. I take pride in serving as a role model for making Credo-based decisions while proactively encouraging others to do the same. My passion lies in technology and helping others. In the future, I want to take on a more challenging role that allows me to grow professionally and fulfils my passion for helping others.
